June 2, 2026

Good Evening State Central Committee,

I want to thank everyone for the trust you placed in me on Saturday.  I'm honored, humbled, and I take the responsibility very seriously and will work hard to live up to the expectations you have of me.

The first two days were a whirlwind of activity, phone calls, and getting up to speed on the state of the party--especially the financial and legal situation.

As of today, I have the ability to send emails and we're working on getting control of our party's website.  I've been in touch with the RNC, initial conversations with our congressional delegation have occurred, I've reached out to Colorado Republican House and Senate leadership, and had conversations with statewide candidate campaigns (for races that don't have primaries) to start working together.

I've also had conversations with donors and I expect that to be productive very soon.

While it has taken a few days longer than I had hoped, we'll be reaching out to county party chairs to ascertain how each county party is doing, what they need, and whether they need technology/GOTV support.

All in all--after an intense three days--I'm much more optimistic about the party's situation than I was the day I was elected.  We're going to be able to do good work this year!

Thank you again for your trust, and I look forward to working with all of you.

Regards,
Craig Steiner, Chairman
Colorado Republican Committee

Important April 8, 2026 update regarding open primaries:

Dear State Central Committee Member and all fellow Republicans,

We have been presented with a decisive moment for our Party’s nomination process.

Following the recent federal ruling on Proposition 108, which found the 75% opt-out threshold unconstitutional, the Colorado Republican Party now has a narrow and time-sensitive opportunity to seek relief for the June 2026 Semi-Open Republican Primary. Specifically, there is a viable legal path to pursue an emergency motion for preliminary injunction seeking to prevent the participation of unaffiliated voters... in this cycle!

Simply Put: The legal ask is that the current system would otherwise run as it is this year except, Don't mail Republican Ballots to Unaffiliated Voters. Very basic and not a full opt out. This is the opportunity.

This couldn't be a more defining moment to truly unify for the integrity of our party.

This opportunity exists because of years of litigation, including the most recent successful federal challenge brought on behalf of the Party. That effort was led in part by our National Committeeman, Randy Corporon, one of the two attorneys who carried this issue through prior litigation and preliminary injunction proceedings to the ruling we now have today. Despite that success, Randy has since been removed from further work on this matter, and no action has yet been authorized to pursue the next step. This paragraph defines the environment of the current debate.

Given the limited time before election-related deadlines and the upcoming State Central Committee meeting, delay will effectively determine the outcome. If action is not taken in the immediate, this opportunity will pass, and the Party will proceed under the same failed system.

You should expect additional developments as this issue is addressed through the Party’s governing process. I will continue to keep everyone informed.

Respectfully,
Eric Grossman
Vice Chairman
Colorado Republican Party

Republican Beliefs

As Republicans we believe in American exceptionalism. We believe the United States of America is unlike any other nation on earth, that America is exceptional because of our historic role - first as refuge, then as defender, and now as exemplar of liberty for the world to see. We affirm - as did the Declaration of Independence: that all are created equal, endowed by their Creator with inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We believe in the Constitution as our founding document. That the Constitution was written not as a flexible document, but as our enduring covenant. We believe our constitutional system - limited government, separation of powers, federalism, and the rights of the people - must be preserved uncompromised for future generations. That political freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. When political freedom and economic freedom are separated — both are in peril; when united, they are invincible. We believe that people are the ultimate resource - and that the people, not the government, are the best stewards of our hard-earned income and our country’s God-given natural resources. As Americans and as Republicans we wish for peace - so we insist on strength. We will make America safe. We seek friendship with all peoples and all nations, but we recognize and are prepared to deal with evil in the world. Based on these principles, the Republican platform is an invitation and roadmap. It invites every American to join us and shows the path to a stronger, safer, and more prosperous America. Excerpts are from the Preamble to the Republican Platform.

We want to honor the most important fallen conservatives we have lost

Sept 10, 2025

In honor of Charlie Kirk, we will always celebrate his unwavering commitment to conservative values and his tireless efforts in empowering young Americans. His passion for liberty, free markets, and constitutional principles has inspired countless individuals to engage actively in shaping the future of our nation and our local government. We hope he serves as an inspiration to you to get involved as well.
